A New Mate

After much consideration, my brother and I decided to buy a new dig cam. Since Ixy is still sick and not yet taken to the doctor. By looking and comparing certain brand, we've concluded. A new IXUS 860IS is the chosen one. 8 mega pixels with 3 inch pure colour LCD screen, multiple face detection, image stabilizer, 28mm wide able lens and all the new technology. So while my Ixus 500 get fixed I will be accompanied by the Ixus 860IS.

The Engagement

Ellen & David are having two wedding parties. One in Jakarta which then become the “Engagement party” another is the actual wedding in Surabaya. So tonight is the not normal Engagement party @Ritz Carlton, which is almost similar to a wedding reception. There is the cake, the walking down the isle, the stage, the dinner, the dance, and even the favors. But first there is the tea ceremony from Ellen's parent family, then followed by the dinner. Unfortunately not many picture taken tonight cos I forgot to charge the battery (silly me) and my Ixy has not recover from his pinky illness. Overall, the party was a blast. All table are occupied, the singer (Syaharani) sang beautifully, chanting the all time favourite jazz, Oow and I would kill for the green dress she wore. The important things friends and family are there to celebrate. Congrats Ellen and David on the Engagement, and soon to wed. ^^

The Shoot

A glimpse of what I'm busy with this past few days. Yes a tv commercial shoot. From the preproduction to the shooting day. Followed by the editing. And guess what a RESHOOT of everything.... Is just going on and on and on... hoOoh!

Look! It's the muffin props:) The checkered paper wrapped around it, is just so beautiful T-T It brings out the golden color of the chocolate chip muffin. Yum....! Nice!

Notice the difference? A change to the grandmother characther makes everything have to be reshoot for the final edit. What's best is this character is now played by the famous Titiek Puspa. Legendary Indonesian artist who have existed for several decades now.^^ Hail Tante Titiek! ooOOoh..!

Sick IXUS

My IXUS 500 is sick. I don't really know what cause it but it makes every shot taken, turns pink. I haven't had the time to bring it to the camera doctor yet. I hope it doesn't cost much to fix it.

Nancy's Birthday

Met up with Nancy and Sur to celebrate Nancy's 26th birthday @ Pepper Lunch PS for dinner. Nancy brought along her good news to dinner. She's going to be a mommy next year^^ Double Congratulation my dearest, Happy Mommy 2 be and Happy Birthday:)

The Favors

This favors packed as a gift of ‘Happiness’. Inside are butter cookies, coffee and the secret recipe for the cookies of love and coffee of happiness :) 'Aaawww...!'














This beautiful dark metallic brown with flower ornament tied with brown ribbon is just stunning. The metallic of the colour shines through when it touches with light. Inside is a jewellery box specially made to fit this personalized copper colour notebook. Nice!

The Invitation

I find that the trend of a wedding invitation are getting more and more extravagant each year. I got this big white box invitation, which makes me go OoOooh...!

The basic white colour box, emboss with white velvet ornament makes it look so modern and classy. I just Loveeee.., the minimal use of colour. It really brings out the wedding image. So far, I vote it for Invitation of The Year :D

Another invitation that amazed me. When I first look at it, I thought... woOow! Big boxy invitation tied with gold ribbon. However, what really makes me startled is "Oh man...! How heavy is this for a wedding invitation!" Inside is the invitation framed with this gorgeous classic style wooden photo frame. Nice!
