And Back Again

Back again ^-^. The trip was even greater than when we went to Bali. Yeay ^^ although I travelled alone this time, but I got to enjoy the “overseas living all by myself” again. It was great! I miss that moment, living all up to you anyway, anyhow. But 1 thing doesn’t goes as planned. Celes was stuck in Bangkok when I went there. We were supposed to go together to Xinhui’s wedding. The original plan of meeting Celes for lunch then go to the wedding dinner together, all ruined because of the strikes in the Bangkok’s airport. Making Celes couldn’t get a flight back to Singapore. Poor Celes and poor me, a fun day with Celes all ruined. Sob! T-T Lucky I still got Sandra who always so kind to accompanied me throughout the trip :) Everything was great. I got to enjoy and relax. This is what a vacation is all about, right?! :)

'on the way to the airport after office. the road was packed as always'

'the dinner at Marina Mandarin'

'us at the dinner banquet'

Too bad San, Yen and Celes couldn't be there to attend the wedding. San grandma just passed away, so as the Chinese believes she is not to attend any happy occassion (like wedding and birthday). Yen was in America on tour with her family. And Celes as we know by now, stucked in Bangkok. Not that perfect timing for the dinner ah :( But oh well, looking at the happy bride I think is good enough for us ;)

'the dinner started late, all the hungry face waiting for the food'

'cannot wait anymore, on behalf of those who couldn't come, shall we?!:D'

'during dinner, the groom sang a song dedicated to the bride :) Owww! how sweet!'

'not forgetting the long salute to the happy couple'

'picture after dinner, too bad L.T has to go off before everything done'

Congrats David & Xinhui! XOXO

'the view from the apartment at the 33rd floor'

nice,eh! waking up to this view every morning of my 5 days stay :)

'me and my bag ready to go venture the day'

'damn you! whoever have this car. so envy...T-T'

This car was parked at the carpark just below the apartment together with all the eye popping expensive cars (I spotted 2 white Ferraris, a Bentley, and a Phantom) Sigh...!

'a christmas tree made of coke bottles, right outside Heeren'

'met San for lunch'

'so hungry can't help but to eat first haha'

'not forgetting dessert in the hot day'

'had to take photo with the georgous x'mas tree'

'eat again'

'the restaurant inside, interesting eh:)'

'the drinks we ordered, very very nice!'

'the food'

'San ordered the giant Teriyaki Chicken Burger'

'time to pay'

'before going back to the apartment :P'

'everything grilled & fried sticks'

Back To Reality

Oh… how I wish I had a longer vacation in Bali. So I went to work this morning by dragging my ass off the bed. I know even the ass doesn’t want to move out of the bed :P doing all the routine at work, layouting, meeting, brain storming. Phew! Anyway, I will be on leave again the day after tomorrow. This time is to Singapore and attending another friend wedding, again. So for now, I’m just gonna take it easy on work.

A Beautiful Island Called Bali

I’m bacccckkk! Bali was great! Well it rain for a day on the last day we were there, but everything was great. The wedding was great, the hotel was great, the HOLIDAY was great! I’m glad we did this after so long. Can't wait for the next holiday trip together again:P

'in the bus to the airplane'

'the hotel we stayed in, for the first 2 days. '

The Oasis, a boutique hotel at Tanjong Benoa. The wedding reception will be at Conrad, which is just down the road. A bus was chattered by Ming2x to transport us from the hotel to the wedding venue. Thanks, Ming:)

'just right after sunrise, I went to the sea to enjoy the water. This is what Bali is all about, right:)'

'the chapel at Conrad'

This is where the ceremony was held. The beautiful triangular chapel with the ocean view. Too bad we didn't went in to the chapel, since it was already full. But all I can say it was really beautiful.

'the bride & the groom & the bridesmaid & the brothers

So, after the church ceremony, we were to go back to hotel and had our lunch. After before going to the dinner reception, we went to Kuta to just Be a tourist hahaha...

'me & bro walking down Kuta Plaza'

'at the dinner reception. This is our table (the famous 23) :P'

'the bride was so busy, we only managed to take this 1 beautiful photo'

Congrats Ming & Yonas XOXO

Next day: We moved to the beautiful Conrad Hotel

'I must say this is a room worth paying for'

'the hotel view at night'

'wanted to swim, but it started drizzling'

'it was raining the whole night till the next day, right before we went to airport'

'before going to the airport, I met Ming2 having her brunch with her ex-bf(then) husband(now)'

Bad Day

People say that 13th is the bad luck no. Well, today is the 13th for me. I don’t know why but I was in such a no luck position this evening. Anyway, I was on my way home together with my friends. We decided to have dinner first before going back. Guess what the road was so heavy in traffic that cars were only moving a meter by half an hour away. Isn’t that crazy? Ya I know it’s not all that bad considering Jakarta is always in traffic jam everyday 24/7. So to escape the traffic I decided to take the small road instead as a shortcut. And voila, this normally small road which was never jam before was jamming through the night! Sigh! No choice, we just have to wait while the car was moving slowly. An hour later, we reached the resto. And guess what, IT CLOSED! Arghhhhh… the resto we were going to, out of all day closed today. No No No…. T-T I think fate has warned us from the beginning not to eat, but we were so eager that nothing can stop us till now. HUaaaaa…! Anyhow, without thinking anywhere else to eat, we decided to go straight home. What a luck, right?! I Know!

So Long Farewell

Another one goes to conquer the world. It’s Peter last day. Peter the account director was so closed to the creative department, made us feel that we are losing a creative and not an account person. Well, the one and only Peter, who always makes it so convincing when he talked about a story, whether it’s true or not. Anyway, to bid goodbye, we had a together lunch at Bakmi Jogja. We went to buy a cake for him, since I didn’t get him any farewell gift as a surprise. But he got something from the account department :P

'cake delivery, right from the next door shop :P'

'not too sure what the candles were for, ya just a formality I guess'

'everybody can't wait to get a slice (ow! it's cheesecake by the way)'

'after cutting the cake, here comes the gift'

'tralaaaaa... it's Zen! what Peter has been wanting'

'peter's pin gift to us (it's his favourite quote in the office)'

Thanks, Pete for all the help all these while :)
Never say Goodbye, right?! So… C ya! ;)
