Today I went with my mom the market. My mom wanted to buy buttons for her clothes. My gosh!!! The button store is huge, so many buttons to choose from. From small to big, from flowery to minimalist, from red to black, you name it you’ll find it. It was like a Disneyland only that it is for tailors. :D

Its A Sunday Lazy Afternoon

The weather is so hot I believe I could fry an egg on the table. Don't forget your sunblock, people. The higher SF the better :P My choice of to do list during the hot weather... Is to lay down in bed, turning on the lowest temperature air con as possible, watching the latest DVD movie and completed with chips and icy cola by the side. :D enjoying every lazy second as possible Hmmm.. Orange Or Pink?

Hey Nancy is back again with her son, Shayne. This time we meet up at Grand Indonesia. As usual we cannot chat for long, since Shayne is brought along, but the meeting was great. Just a normal lunch plus dessert and a decent catching up is the highlight of the day. ;) We got to eat dessert at a new yogurt parlor. Which when I first saw it, it reminded me of the yogurt place in the state.

This new parlor is called Orangeberry and the one in the state is called the Pinkberry. Visit the Pinkberry website and you’ll spot the difference. Well I must say spot the similarity. Oh well, business is getting so competitive in this global crisis right. hehehe...

Kuinshinbo?!

We tried out a new restaurant at FX today. Well it wasn’t really a resto, more like a modern look of a food court. Kuinshinbo (meaning: a boy who likes to eat) a small food court consisting of all Japanese food from appetizer to dessert all there. It’s very cute or should I say KAWAII… :D food court decorated to look like a little town of Japan.

It was fun. Oh and have I told you, I was so tempt to bring home the icy display. Look so real, it even tempts us to order one. Though it wasn’t as good as it look but it was worth it. ^-^ nyum nyum…

What A Day!

Today is not a good day to be out of the office. The signs were there telling me “NO, NO” I shouldn’t be out. But I didn’t care so I went out. Before going, the sunny day suddenly turned dark and followed by big rain. That was the first sign. Then while driving I tried to avoid the normal road I took thinking that it might be jammed cause of the heavy rain. Guess what?! That road I took jammed even worse. I should have taken the usual way. That was the second sign. Not realizing anything yet, the last but not least that stroked me to realize everything; a car was parked parallel directly behind my car and forgetting to loosen the brake. ARGHHHHHHHHHHH!!! I WAS STUCK!!! My mobile phone was low in battery. Crap!!! Crap!!! Crap!!! I’ve tried the information to call on the person whose car was behind me. But after a few call still he didn’t appear. Luckily the security guard was good enough to direct me out with those little spaces in-between; I managed to get out of there. Now, the last part is going back and not gets caught by the management while going in. And u knows what!!! Amazingly the human resource guy, who usually took our absentees, was there STANDING OUTSIDE THE FRONT DOOR. Oh my GOD! I was like, "what was he doing there anyway?! he never once stand there at this type of hours." Can’t the day be any worse!!! So I was walking slowly to the front door ready to go in, can’t even face the guy’s face. And suddenly………….. *silent moment. He didn’t say anything. Hey I’m not that unlucky after all… HAHAHAHAHHAA… man...! Thinking it back, I really should have stayed in the office today.

3D Experience

Today is the first time I watched 3D movie in a cinema. Technology are becoming more high tech. Gadget are becoming more and more advance. From an interactive game console to electrical appliances controlled by a mobile phone. Now, movie is going 3D. When we arrived, we were given the special 3D glasses to watch.

It was so cool, unlike the paper red and blue glasses that we used to have when we were kids. We were going to watch Alien Vs Monster. Yeah those cute aliens and monsters :D. Before the movie start we got to watch several other 3D animated movie trailers. Damn! I never know there’s going to be so many upcoming 3D animated movies. Not only DreamWorks and Pixar producing animated movie, but even Sony have an animated production studio. I can’t wait to watch them :) So to you, who haven’t watch 3D animated, you should start to watch. It was great! ;)

Blank Spot

What to write… mMmm I’m not too sure, cos there’s nothing to write. No interesting activity that I can write about. I’m sitting down on my working brain consuming table, well without squeezing my brain that basically just a working table hehehe. Doing nothing, browsing through here and there, play games, chat, that’s everything for now. So I’ll be back when the activities return. :D Toodles ^-^.V

A Quick Update

Damn! I just realize that the month is ending soon and April is coming. It means that I have been absent writing for almost 3 months now. I guess I better start to forget the old forgotten upload first and get on the newer one. When I already have the time, I will upload back the previous one. How do that sound? :D So today, basically I’m enjoying my long hours of sleep. I can’t remember when was the last time I slept in, till late afternoon. The morning were always awaken by phone calls or the alarm clock or the gym class or even my adorable dog, who always woke me up whenever he wants to enter the room. Thank god for today, nobody or nothing disturbed my sleep. And I woke up at 1.30 in the afternoon. HAH! It felt sooooo good. I almost forgot how good it was. My favourite time hehehe… then a bit later in the afternoon I went to church after absenting from last week sermon. And at night we went for dinner to celebrate the delayed birthday dinner. Great lazy weekend made my day hah! :D

Just For A Day

Yeay to a 1 day holiday. Yes, though it is just for a day break, but it was great. Since I wasn’t feeling all that well yesterday. Today is a great day just to take a break and rest. Really, it helped a lot in regaining my physical strength. With the rain pouring heavily outside, and the American idol, one of my favourite TV show is playing live on TV. It was just great. Really great. Oh I just wished tomorrow work is canceled and we were off to a long weekend. Well, you wished girl! Life is just too good for you today, but is not like everyday is a holiday. :P Enjoy your holiday? Well I did. So far so good :D

The Economy Effect

The whole day I feel so sucky. My body not delicious (or to what we called it ‘nga enak badan’) this must be because of the economic crisis :P do the economic really play apart in our health? Think about it, it actually does. Well somehow or another hehehe… you see when the economy is having a downturn, food and all the everyday needs price rise up. Restaurant and market will try to fight keeping their business as alive as possible. When it wasn’t possible to rise up their selling price anymore, they will try to save up on their ingredient to meet its market price, isn’t it? Low Budget = Low Productivity = Low Quality of food and the chain goes on and on. I guess that’s how it all started affecting our health. Sigh anyway, no good no good, we have to start taking care of our own body. What we eat, where we go to or how do we get it? We must always take it to considerations nowadays. So… better take a good care of yourself, people! Coz the flu season is here.

A Long Day

What a long day, today felt. I woke up earlier than I used to, went to office earlier than I used to, but no work to be done. I guess the economy crisis has effect us all. Oh I’m so bored doing nothing, and the internet was down the whole day cause of the heavy rain which widely spread around Jakarta. What a long day.

Visiting Baby Kei

So… Sunday, my cousin and I went to visit a friend to see his brand new baby girl. Well not exactly new actually she’s already a month old. I didn’t get the chance to see her when she was still in the hospital. This will be the first time I actually meet her in person and the first time as well that I got to see their house. When we arrived our first impression was like “OH, MY GOD!” so freakin’ far. Ok well, their house is at Tangerang so definitely far. It was like a trip out off the city, well in fact, it was hahaha…

and we got lost for a few second inside the complex :P their house is actually situated inside the factory which they own. So in the front, near the entrance gate are the factories building and way at the back after circling through it’s their house. My first imagination upon arriving was horses running through the open field. It was a huuuuugge complex. Don’t blame me! :P I can’t imagine myself living in this kind of place. Too bad I forgot to take a photo of the place; you might be amazed as well. Anyway, back to baby business, Keisha (it’s the daughter name) is already so big. Well not that shocking looking at her parent who are so tall. So small yet she already had ‘the’ nose :D Her daddy said it’s from her grandmother :) adorable little Keisha was sleeping when we arrived,

Well that’s what uncles and aunties do when they gather together, right! :P not for long we had to leave, so Kei can go back and do her job which she’s really good at. Yes… Sleeping! Hahaha…

Alluring Pork

Arrghhh... me and forgetful brain. I totally lost it. My Friday abstinence all break loose because of the pork with soy sauce glaring in front of my eyes. Which I’m sure, somehow the pork kinda give an under conscience signal to my brain that it has to be eaten. Since morning I already remember to fast and stay afar from any red meat possible. Even my lunch was only leaves, I already felt like a bunny wabbit. As the time going to sunset, I totally forgot to stay away from the desire to eat. Sigh. Well in my defense I really was forgot. Really! :D but it doesn’t give me excuse in holding on to my conscience, right?! Oh well… Please forgive meh *just like Bryan Adams’ song. I promise I will not forget again ^^ PROMISE!!! :D *this must be the Friday the 13th curse that lured me to the porkies… *-* hehehe just kidding is all me fault... sigh! Back to self introspection.

2 Months of Emptiness

Really Plain

I went to lunch with Sur today at Senci. We were so confused of where to eat, so we picked Spageddies at level 3. Sur ordered a spaghetti carbonara and I ordered for rolled pasta with 2 saucing.
And you know something, it was so shocking. Look! When you ordered spaghetti carbonara, it was really SPAGHETTI with CARBONARA sauce.
It was so PLAIN! No beef no sausage, nothing! At first I thought this exclusive franchised restaurant food would be great, but clearly wasn’t as good. No it was baddddd!!! Sigh! After the bad lunch, we had out for a dessert luckily there was Sour Sally. Now everything black and white turns all colorful again :D

Heavenly Blush

Eating yogurt is part of the trend now in Jakarta. After the booming best selling yogurt parlor, Sour Sally make its debut back a year ago, now there are more and more places selling yogurt as well. Heavenly Blush is one of them. Open at Pondok Indah Mall making so much easier for me to buy yogurt whenever I crave for one. The taste, I might say is more or less the same with Sour Sally. I’m loving the place décor, all pinky and flowery. I wish my room décor is as cheerful as it. :P so for you who haven’t try eating the low fat yogurt, you should start trying for one. Sour Sally/Heavenly Blush? Both are good…. *Damn! I’m craving for one now :P

It’s been so long since “Peace” (this is the name of our group since we were so eager to make our own girl band back then :P) went out together again. We used to go out almost every week when we were still in Sing. Since then, everybody was moving across the world, we haven’t had the time really together all 4 of us again. Today, we were out. It’s not planned it just happen. Too bad the youngest of the cast had to go off first to meet up with her friend and we haven’t taken a picture. Anyway it was just a simple Saturday out to the movie, eating and drinking and gossiping and laughing about everything we talked about. Oh how I miss those days. Now everybody is busy dealing with their own life. Not too worries, I’m sure there will be next trip together. Just finger crossed. :D

A New Year's Instro

Happy New Year, everyone! Another year gone by, it went by so quickly that I still remember what I wore to the New Years Eve celebration that we had in Shang Palace. 2008 hasn’t been so great to me. Well it was better than 2007, but is not better than I expected it would be. I didn’t manage to strikes off anything from my 2008 Resolution list. It sucks! Knowing that I should have done it, but it doesn’t end that way.

This year New Year celebration was bad. Everything went wrong really really wrong. It was a moody morning, followed by a big miscommunication, feeling hurt and misunderstood, the afternoon everything fell apart and I wasn’t in the mood again to welcome the New Year. Because of this day, I was feeling afraid of what might happen in the 2009. With the opening year started with such a bad attitude, it really scares me of how to face my 2009. How am I as a person going to be? How’ life for me in 2009?

So, this morning I woke up knowing that 2008 hasn't been a smooth ride for me, and I know 2009 won't be either. I prayed to have more faith in God and myself. God has been so good to me, that sometimes I keep on forgetting that God is there too when I’m down. I just didn’t realize and forgetting to put more faith in Him. I’ll try to be brave and more understanding, I’ll try to be more open and caring to what others has to offer. I'll try to treat others the way I want to be treated “Be Happy for Myself” I think that’s what going to be my resolution this year. I always put others feeling first on top of mine; I think that’s what makes me not as happy as I can be. That’s bad, I guess?! I’ll try to love myself more just like I love the others. From now on, I’m gonna be happy. I’ll try to put more faith in Him that He will make His way to make me happy for me.

Here I am now; ready to face the new year. I hope I managed to do my resolution this year. With more faith in Him and myself, I know I will. Once again, Happy new year, everyone! I hope you get to your resolution this year. Hoping for the best is yet to come ^-^ Cheers!
