A Thought

Lying down on the bed, thinking how it’s going to be like to be 26. Part of me is looking forward to the new age, and part of me, don’t. I just wished this new age will bring me more happiness. I don’t know why but I think being 25 by far sucks! Is it because of the year? Or was it simply just because of me? I don’t know. So I just hope that this 26 will be a better year.^-^ counting down to the “day” wish me luck guys:D

Uneasy Feeling

I'm feeling all blue today. I just don't know why. I woke up gloomy inside and wanting to cry. Why is it that all the gloominess and sadness jumble up inside whenever my birthday is just round the corner? Is it because I'm having the fear of getting old? Or was it just because the stars doesn't line up in the right direction as my horoscope would? Well I think I might be tired from all the crazy schedule. I wat to have a smie on my face again. I want to be all cheery just like the flowers blooming in the spring. A friend suggested to think of a few of my favourite things. I've tried, though it doesn't help much, but thinking that there are those who still support me, I just hope I won't fall apart. (Anyway, thanks J)

From Dull To Full of Colour

It was a dull afternoon, the weather felt like it was going to rain and I don’t know why but the office seems so quiet today. I guess some of them were having ulcers, eh! :P so as the usual thee girly groups went to meet up with Irene over at the pizza place :D The day was full of bitching on somebody else, from the boss, to work to other colleague and etc. It was fun actually so we don’t feel so depress about it. We really have to make this monthly. Just to let all our hatred in the open hahaha. And so it goes, the dull afternoon was no longer dull ^^

Sweet 15

Mellisa is celebrating her 15th birthday. Yes! Her 15th birthday which was in June hasn't been officially celebrated. So as her high school days are going to be over (damn! she's still in high school I've just realised our age gap *sigh!) she wanted to make the last celebration of her birthday which also partly a farewell party with her friends and family. It was nice! Most of her high school friends were there attending, with an on call VJ hosting the night and the home band taking off the stage, I must say she should had a blast. ^^ I wish mine were like hers, but everybody had their moment right..:D Happy Birthday, Mell! All the best wishes goes to you ^-^

The 080808

So, it's the 888 day. Some says this would be the best auspicious day thus far. Those who were born at the 8th of August are the most 'Lucky' people to the the Chinese believe. Those who get married on this day would have a better future in their marriage and so on.

Well for China this is 'The Day' to open the first day of the first Olympic held in Asia. It turns out not as great as expected, but it was much much more better than great. It was EXCELLENT.

'some of the world class performance'

China really captures the whole world attention to this day. Their world class performance in the ceremony was well choreograph to meet the modernity of the era but not forgetting the Chinese heritage as well. All well thought showed in their performance. A standing ovation should be awarded to them for giving out best of the best. This made me wonder, if my own country would ever have the quality to perform as such. Well all finger crossed! :)

Our Own Stupidity

It's the first day of a new month. Work as always getting more and more hectic everyday. Lunch hour becoming more valuable for me to relax me mind and body. A friend was asking to check out the Kemang Festival which will open for 3 days and starting today (*this is what she said). The road will be blocked so that seller are free to open their stall along the roadside. There you can find lots of different thing from clothing, books, accessories and even snacks. This festival only open once a year for 3 days, so many people across the city who have been looking for it will come and gather during these 3 days. Worried by the crowd of people, so we didn't bring our car, instead we took a cab there. The weather was so hot, it took lots of initiative just to step outside the office. Ready with all the money and camera needed, so the four of us went. As we were entering Kemang, we saw the festival banner. Getting more excited but something tells me that there something not right. First we saw no road block yet. At first I thought maybe it was the further down road that is closed. So we sat back and just enjoy the ride in the cab following down the road. Then my mind started wondering, how come my "boss" who live in Kemang came early to the office today? Cos he used to tell me that everytime the fest is on, he won't be able to came out of his own house, due to the road block. Becoming more and more suspicious, suddenly a friend called and said the fest DO open today but starting at 10pm. *denk! We laughed ourselves out, thinking how stupid we were then head back to the office to have our lunch. On the way back, we stopped by Apotik Jaya to buy the "famous" Satay & Soto Ayam to go. The weather is getting hotter by day, as it reached 12.30pm already. We went back by again the "famous" Bajaj :P Yes 4 of us all in 1 Bajaj. And not enough stupidity, the Soto seller forgot to put in the salt and other spices for the soup. Arghhhh *well this time is not our stupidity instead of the seller. So soto has no taste Sigh! Oh well how pitiful, something to learn and remember though. Anyway I had fun laughing at ourselves:P
