The Last Shot

It’s Sunday and the bad part I have to go to work. The shoot today is all about the product is the trickiest shot thus far. Like the pack shot, the foam shot, the water stiring shot, etc. Everything should be in detail so the product look yummy and beautiful than its suppose to look. Shooting normally start early in the morning cos this shoot is on Saturday, so we kinda took our time and start shooting in the afternoon. Well bad choice because in the end it ended at 1am. Oh well what to do.

Kampung Cina

Woohoo another “holiday” back in the office. It’s Friday, and most of the people are out to shoot out a new commercial. So I and my team decided to head home early to rest, because on Sunday we have to be back to work and continue the 3rd day of the shoot. Sigh... bad bad idea working on the weekend. But what to do the show must go on since we have no other day to shoot. The director of this shoot is from Malaysia. So he and his crew and have to finish up fast on whatever he is doing back here in Jakarta and then flies back to Malaysia. Anyhow, so at around 4 we “ponteng” (that’s how Singaporean student usually called if the want to skip class) Not intended to go home yet, so we decided to take a semi group outing. And guess where did we go…? :D To Kampung Cina we go \^^/ a place inspired by the Chinese. Do you wanna know how China look like? This is the place where you can enjoy China without going to their country itself :P It was an interesting, fun place. The sell a lots of China goods’ from accessories to toys to even traditional Chinese costume for rental. Too bad the rental was too expensive. And when we arrived it was already around 6pm so the shops were closing. Got to come again next time, and shop when they are open ^^

Rushing Photo

A quick update from the busy world. I was out all day to a photo shoot session. We had to do the photo shoot today, because the girl talent is going back to Netherlands to continue her study this Friday. After all the arrangement with the photographer and client schedule so we had to rush the shoot to today. Well I wasn’t all preparing with everything actually but a Job got to be done anyhow. Sigh…! So tiring

Another Day Another Shoot

Today is the second day to shoot. We got a total of 3 days shoot which the 3rd one will be on Sunday. I was late for the shoot, cos I got a few things to do back in the office first. So while doing my work at the office, today is also Roro’s birthday. Adhe got her a big birthday cake. Too bad she didn’t have the candle, so we didn’t make a surprise. But I got her good with the cake cream rubbed on her face:D

After everythings done in the office I went to the location to continue the day. When I got there the shoot was about to finished, so just enjoying the rest of the shoot. The second day shoot uses a different talent. This time is more to the comedic ambience. The main talent look so much like a Jim Carey wannabe. With the big teeth and wide smile making it look so corny. But he also look so handsome despite of his personal style hahaha. Well really was a refreshing moment there :D later on a long distance friend called. So happy, there were so many things that I wanted to tell, too many it made me confused which to tell first. But anyway I was just happy to hear his voice again, reminding me of the old times. ;) Thanks for calling, J ^^

Pretty Handsome

First day of Torabika (instant coffee) shoot. The atmosphere was so hot today. I don’t know was it because of the global warming hot, or was it because of the “Damn You” oh so gorgeous talent :P Since this shot is for the regional commercial, so we had to find an international looking talent. Lucky for us who joined this shoot :P The guy (main talent) is so handsome, that I can hardly take my eyes of him. Whenever he passed by the room, it was like a running 15sec commercial. His name is Keith Foo, he’s a Malaysian born Chinese Indian. His main skill is attracting the girls with his Oh so sweet smile. Even mine were melted haha… Did I mention the girl (main talent) is also so pretty? She is just 19 Netherlands mix Indonesian. She’s sweet, so tall for her age. The guys can’t take their eyes of her. When they were put in the frame together, it was just perfect to get the romantic ambience. :)

Unforgettable Surprise...!

It is the first day to be back to the office after the long weekend holiday. Birthday wishes still continuing after yesterday. I’m happy and flattered that they still remember my birthday;) Everyone but Roro greeted me. I began to think if she actually remembers. Till one of my colleague shout out to Roro saying it was my birthday yesterday and ask Roro to greet me. After that then she greeted. Well I knew it was kind of forceful, so I wasn’t all that happy, but I guess better than nothing and continue to do my work back. Till around 10.30 I was about to go down to the restroom, and suddenly one of my colleague pull me back and ask me to go up again to do my work. It was strange but not that strange cos I know that I had an urgent job to do. But deep down I still all weird about it. Then suddenly…. SURPRISE!!! Roro, Anggie, and the others came up to the room with a variety of cake. From cheesecake, tiramisu to chocolate and moose you name it they have it. Man….! I was so touched. Tears almost came out hahaha… Lucky I got strong :P It was very nice of them to be so thoughtful all about it. And ow! I got a present. It is a STORYBOARD of ME! Hahaha… The story all random but it is one of a kind ;) Well well I guess my birthday wishes are really coming true. There’s no word to describe how happy I was today.

One EightEightEight

Yeay…! Happy Birthday Me :) 26 already! Man, how time fly so fast. Many things have come and go and I never been more happy entering my new age. 25 have not been nice to me. So my finger all crossed for a better year to come. ^^ And I must say it is looking really good so far. As starting, my family surprised me with a cake when the clock strikes 12. It wasn’t all that successful, cos I was supposed to go out of my room and get all the surprised by the living room. Instead they came in to the room knocking at my door. When I saw that they already turn off all the light, I knew that I was supposed to come out of my room to get surprised. Well I was surprised enough by them going in to my room with a cake and candles lit up. They never really did a midnight surprise :) Thanks guys. And what makes it even more surprising, that they bought me present. ^^ It is “The” bag I wanted all this while. Awwwww…! It was really a great start. I hope it will continue to be great and even greater. ;) Ow and thank you guys for all the wishes and hope. May it all come true!

Red & White Celebration

Happy Independence Day ^-^ the country was full of various activities today, starting with the early morning flag raising ceremony by the President at the Presidential area. Then followed with activities around the neighbourhood, like games of the fastest cracker eating contest, fastest runner in a goony sack, fastest runner with spoon hold by the mouth with a marble put on top, etc. The day was full of eventful culture. Well anyway not only Indonesia who celebrated its independence day, but my uncle do too :D
Today it’s his 60th birthday as well… ^^ to mark the 60th he made a special dinner at the Ritz Carlton Hotel. Everybody was invited, from family, friends and even those from America came to celebrate his birthday. Before dinner there was a mass to thank the night and all the blessing through this day. Thank You, God :) Then dinner began accompanied by a home band. The band was excellent their choice of music just can’t make me sit still :P There was a dance floor as well; too bad nobody was dares to dance in front. I wanted to, but just don’t know how to do a ballroom dance. Too bad huh?! Maybe I should start learning one. M, I miss our lesson by your house T-T
